Position: Hyperbaric Medicine Physician
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) and diving-related medical care.
- Assess and manage patients with diving injuries and decompression illness.
- Oversee the safe clinical operation of hyperbaric chambers.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary medical teams.
Requirements
- Medical degree with an active medical licence.
- Certification or fellowship in Hyperbaric Medicine.
- Experience in Diving or Undersea Medicine.
- Strong clinical experience managing HBOT patients and hyperbaric chambers.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- South African training or certification.
- UHMS, DMAC, EDTC, SAUHMA, or equivalent certification.
