ClassiFind is an online classified ads community that connects buyers and sellers directly. ClassiFind does not own, inspect, sell, deliver, guarantee, or provide warranty for items, services, vehicles, properties, jobs, or any other listings posted by users.

1. Buyer and Seller Responsibility

All purchases, returns, refunds, exchanges, warranties, inspections, payments, deliveries, and disputes are handled directly between the buyer and the seller.

Before completing any transaction, buyers and sellers should clearly agree on:

  • Item condition
  • Price
  • Payment method
  • Delivery or collection method
  • Return or exchange terms
  • Warranty, if any
  • Refund conditions, if any

ClassiFind is not a party to the transaction between buyer and seller.

2. Private Sellers

For listings posted by private individuals, items are generally sold on an “as-is, where-is” basis unless the seller clearly agrees otherwise.

Buyers are responsible for inspecting the item before payment and confirming that it matches the listing description.

Private sellers are encouraged to state clearly whether returns are accepted or not accepted.

3. Business Sellers, Shops, and Service Providers

Business sellers, shops, agents, dealers, and service providers are responsible for complying with all applicable consumer protection laws, commercial regulations, warranty obligations, and return/refund requirements.

If a business seller offers a return, exchange, refund, or warranty policy, it must be clearly communicated to the buyer before the transaction is completed.

4. Damaged, Defective, or Misrepresented Items

If an item is defective, damaged, counterfeit, unsafe, or materially different from the listing description, the buyer should contact the seller immediately and provide clear evidence, such as photos, videos, receipts, chat records, or inspection reports.

The buyer and seller should attempt to resolve the matter directly in good faith.

5. Payments

ClassiFind strongly recommends that buyers avoid sending advance payments unless they fully trust the seller and have verified the listing.

ClassiFind is not responsible for:

  • Payments made directly between users
  • Cash transactions
  • Bank transfers
  • BenefitPay or wallet transfers
  • Failed deliveries
  • Non-refundable deposits
  • Seller refusal to refund
  • Buyer refusal to complete payment

6. No ClassiFind Refund Obligation

ClassiFind does not issue refunds for transactions made directly between buyers and sellers.

Any refund related to a listed item, service, vehicle, property, or other classified ad must be handled directly by the seller.

This policy does not cover ClassiFind advertising fees, membership packages, promoted listings, or platform service fees, which may be subject to a separate ClassiFind payment/refund policy.

7. Disputes Between Users

ClassiFind may, at its discretion, review reports of suspicious listings, misleading ads, fraud, abuse, or repeated complaints.

ClassiFind may remove listings, restrict accounts, suspend users, or cooperate with relevant authorities where necessary.

However, ClassiFind does not act as a court, arbitrator, payment processor, escrow provider, or debt collection service.

8. Buyer Safety Recommendations

Buyers are advised to:

  • Inspect items before payment
  • Meet in safe public locations where appropriate
  • Verify seller identity where possible
  • Avoid unrealistic offers
  • Keep written records of communication
  • Request receipts for high-value purchases
  • Check vehicle, boat, property, or electronics documents before payment

9. Seller Safety Recommendations

Sellers are advised to:

  • Describe items honestly and accurately
  • Upload real photos
  • Disclose defects clearly
  • Confirm payment before handing over items
  • Keep transaction records
  • State return and refund terms clearly in advance

Nothing in this policy limits any legal rights available to buyers or sellers under applicable laws and regulations.

Where consumer protection laws apply, the seller is responsible for complying with those laws.
